Our UT Health Carthage hospital is seeking an experienced Lab Director to work Full Time. We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills in our Laboratory where you will be responsible for:
Collect specimens, perform tests and maintain proper documentation Assist Lab Manager in maintaining compliance with hospital and regulatory entities by keeping documentation up-to-date and review Quality Control on all tests performed Plans, directs, and manages all clinical and technical aspects of the Laboratory Services in accordance with ETMCRHS salary and personnel policies; evaluates performance of individual employees that report directly to this position. Responsible for the business development of the laboratory function including test menu definition, test menu development, pricing, profitability, revenue growth, quality assurance, and client satisfaction. DUTIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Directs the activities of the professional/technical and support personnel; makes decisions regarding hires, promotions, salary adjustments, and disciplinary actions in accordance with ETMCRHS salary and personnel policies; evaluates performance of individual employees that report directly to this position. Develops, secures approval for, administers departmental budget in accordance with ETMCRHS policies and procedures. Responsible for collaboration with ETMC-Tyler Business office regarding CPT coding, test menus and accounts receivable. Responsible for the profitability and client satisfaction of hospital clinical laboratory services program; including product definition, test availability, menu expansion, referral testing support. Responsible for cost containment, efficient operations, client satisfaction and effective utilization of the clinical laboratory as it serves hospital and reference laboratory patients and customers. Coordinates operational efforts with Laboratory Medical Director. Develops short- and long-term goals and objectives for the departments. Responsible for frequent communication of goals and objectives to the organization above and below this position. Maintains records and compiles data to document and ensure compliance with all ETMCRHS policies and with applicable local, state, federal, and accreditation regulations. Meets and consults with administrative team to discuss problems, report department activities, and make recommendations; conducts departmental meetings and information sessions. Understands the Laboratory Compliance Plan and ETMCRHS HIPAA policies and follows such policies in day-to-day work. Communicates issues/information regarding compliance as defined in the programs. SUPERVISION:
Supervises Technical Manager, Support Services Manager, Transfusion Services Manager, Point of Care Manager, and QA Manager. Position Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology Degree or Business Administration.
Experience:
5 - 8 years progressively more responsible development experience in the clinical Laboratory setting. 5 years management experience is required. Certification and Licensure:
Certification as a Registered Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) is preferred. Skills:

Work is performed under basically normal working conditions, as in a standard office environment. Travel required. COMMENTS:

Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
